The Glacier Bay Cat is a displacement hull fishing vessel
that is unbelievable in its handling characteristics and
performance. Produced in sizes ranging from 22' to 34'
these hardy vessels hail from the Pacific Northwest
and the heavy sea conditions on up to Alaska. Rigged with
twin outboards they will out perform comparable mono hulls
in a nasty chop since the hull does not leave the water.
Due to the displacement hull they are not as affected by
the surface of the water as the more common center
consoles. This allows the boat to slip through the water
with limited effect on the boat. In addition, the engines
are far apart for superior maneuverablity and if you ever have an engine problem
out at sea you simply come back home on one engine at
almost half speed! All Glacier Bays come equipped with an
enclosed head including the 22' center console model!
